In 2023, RD Content began working on one of it's first ever original productions, Treehouse. The inspiration for Treehouse stemmed from a sense of nostalgia and a desire to revive the charm of 90s live-action TV shows featuring costumed characters and whimsical sets, like Teletubbies or The Fimbles. However, we wanted to modernise this classic formula by incorporating animated elements, ensuring the show felt fresh and relevant for today’s audience.

My role within Treehouse was Lead Animator, my first ever time leading an animation project, and also the first time working on a set too. There was a lot to learn in a very short time on set, all the while, keeping the animation style and other team members on track. There are many things I would do differently the second time round. However I am super grateful for the opportunity and to be trusted on such a grand task.
